Adolescent Medicine
Adolescent health refers to the physical, emotional and social well-being of individuals during the transition from childhood to adulthood, between the ages of 10 and 19.
Adolescence is a critical stage in human development, and the health issues faced during this time can have long-lasting effects. Early intervention, comprehensive education, and open communication between adolescents, families, and healthcare providers are essential for addressing and managing these health problems. Promoting physical and mental well-being through supportive environments and proactive healthcare can lead to healthier, more resilient adolescents.
